Conditions : APPLEGATE RESERVOIR: The Siskyou Mountains Ranger District has implemented a revised forest closure. Applegate Lake is accessible now, but the closure extends upstream of the reservoir into the upper Applegate’s tributaries.

The reservoir is 18 percent full with an elevation of 1,904 ft. Reservoir operations, elevations and boat ramp levels can be viewed by hovering over icons on the US Army Corps Rogue Basin Teacup

The USFS had already closed Hart-tish boat ramp for the season due to low water. Copper ramp becomes unusable around 1920 feet elevation, so the best bet is French Gulch for the rest of the year whenever the area closures are lifted. Last updated 10/7/20.
