Conditions
: Snake River Idaho Falls: Because of the increasing flow out of Palisades Dam the Snake River is much higher than normal for this time of the season. This condition will continue well into the irrigation season and makes presenting large streamer patterns the best option for fly fishing success during this time. The same applies to the river below American Falls Dam. Reported by: Jimmy's Alls Season Angler |

About: -
This
section of the South Fork River from Heise on through Idaho Falls is an
excellent fishery and is opened year round. Autumn months, water levels drop
considerably and provides an excellent opportunity for wading anglers between
Heise and the confluence of the North Fork. In the Idaho Falls area there
are many excellent fishing opportunities just above and below the city.
