The resident fish in Salt River
are, Brook, Rainbow and the Snake River Fine-Spotted Cutthroat, which tend to
average 10- 14 inches in length. Brown trout are present also, but they
normally stay in deep cool waters of Palisades until fall. Fishing
pressure is relatively light in comparison to the neighboring South Fork and
Wyoming Snake River
