: Arcadia: September 18. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water 80 and semi-clear. Largemouth bass fair to good on worms at 10 ft. around brush piles and tree lines. Channel catfish fair to good on liver and worms at 10 ft. around north and south points and coves. Crappie good on minnows at 12 ft. around north and south brush piles. All other fishing fair. | About: -
Arcadia Lake, rests in a part of Oklahoma called the Cross
Timbers. It is an unique environment where grasslands intersect with a forest on
a bed of red soil. The normal elevation of Arcadia Lake is
1006 feet with a surface area of 1,820 acres. It is surrounded by 26 miles of
shoreline. The dam itself is a rolled earth earthfill embankment nearly a mile
long. At maximum capacity the lake has an elevation of 1029.5 feet and a
surface area of 3,820 acres.
Facilities: Paved
roads and parking, flush toilets, hot showers in the campgrounds, playgrounds
swimming beaches and large boat ramps are some of the facilities provided. Each
picnic or camp site has parking, a fire ring, utility table with lantern stand,
and a picnic table. A variety of campsites are available, ranging from tent
camping to full hook-ups with all utilities.
Location: Arcadia
Lake is located on the Deep Fork River, five miles east of Edmond, Oklahoma and
one and one-half mile west of Arcadia, Oklahoma.
