Conditions : RIO GRANDE: Stream flow on Monday at the Taos Junction Bridge was 411 cfs. Fishing was good using elk hair caddis, bead-head wooly buggers, poundmeisters, copper John Barrs, Panther Martin spinners, Mepps spinners and night crawlers. Fishing was fair using streamers, spoons and spinners for smallmouth bass. We had no other reports.

Rio Hondo: Stream flow near Valdez on Monday was 34.2 cfs. Fishing was good using parachute Adams, salmon eggs and worms for trout.

Stream flow below Elephant Butte Monday morning was 2,140 cfs. Fishing below Elephant Butte and Caballo and at the Mesilla Valley Dam was fair using night crawlers, chicken liver and cut bait for catfish. Most of the reports this week were of small catfish. Fishing was fair using grubs, spoons and minnows for white bass. We had no other reports.
