Conditions : RIO GRANDE: Stream flow on Monday morning at the Taos Junction Bridge was 1,440 cfs. Fishing was slow to fair using weighted wooly bugger, spinners and night crawlers for trout. We had no reports on northern pike or smallmouth bass. Fishing in the Albuquerque area was fair to good using liver and dough bait for catfish.

Stream flow below Elephant Butte on Monday morning was 1,950 cfs. Fishing below Caballo was fair to good using night crawlers and liver for catfish. Fishing for walleye was slow but there were a few caught by anglers using minnows and night crawlers. We had no reports on other species. We had no reports from the river below Elephant Butte.
