| Conditions
: Lochsa - Anglers on the Lochsa, Selway and North Fork Clearwater Rivers are doing very well catching 10-16" westslope cutthroat and rainbow trout. Fishing is usually best in the morning. Small spinners, spoons, and most of the usual trout flies are the lures to use. Reported by: IDFG |

The Lochsa River is located In the mountains of north-central Idaho, with the
headwaters being in the Bitterroot Mountains. The river runs between the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness
Area which is the last remaining road-less portion of the entire Lewis and Clark
Trail. (more the Lochsa River)
