| Conditions
: St. Joe River: The St. Joe has continued to fish well. Fish are still eating hoppers and ants throughout the day, but make sure you have some hatch-matching bugs in the box so when those fish do key in on a specific insect during the hatch you will be able to take full advantage of it. Smaller caddis and mayflies coming off in the evenings and on those nice cloudy days should do the trick. Reported by: |

| About: - Located in the Idaho Panhandle, the St. Joe River is one of Idaho's finer cutthroat rivers. Sections of the St. Joe are part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers system and designated as "quality fishing" by the Department of Fish and Game. The St. Joe hosts cutthroat trout, bull trout and whitefish. There are specific regulations that apply here, catch-and-release only, using artificial flies and lures with a single barbless hook. The river is susceptible to spring runoff and summer rains. The best time to fish the Joe is late June thru September. |

| Misc Info: - In the St. Joe River you can keep 2 cutthroat, none between 8-16 inches downstream of the North Fork. Upstream of there it is catch-and-release. | |||
