: Waurika: Elevation is 3 ft. below normal (stable), water temperature 58°F and murky. Bass, Largemouth, Crappie, White good on hair jigs, jigs, lipless baits, minnows, plastic baits, PowerBait, small lures around brush structure, docks, main lake, rocks. Bass, Striped Hybrid, Bass, White, Saugeye good on crankbaits, minnows, small lures around docks, main lake, points, rocks. About: -
Waurika Lake is approximately two miles
wide and eleven miles long with 80 miles of shoreline and a surface area of
10,000 acres. The lake is noted for its good crappie and hybrid striper fishing.
The Waurika dam is located on Beaver Creek, a tributary of the Red River, about
six miles northwest of Waurika, Oklahoma.
