About: -
The Selway River located in North Central Idaho, and is recognized as a National Wild and Scenic River. It is a tributary of the Middle Fork Clearwater River, and flows within the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, the Bitterroot National Forest, and the Nez Perce National Forest.
The river is roughly 100 miles in length from the headwaters in the Bitterroots to the confluence with the Lochsa River near Lowell to form the Middle Fork of the Clearwater.
