: Dolores River - As of 10/22/2021 Duranglers reports, The upper Dolores drainage is fishing solid. Dry droppers into the fall. Small mayflies will be hatching too. No action on top, double up the nymph rig. Close to McPhee, dont be surprised to find a smallmouth or two. Flows: 71.6 at Dolores Reported by: Colorado D.O.W |

The Dolores River has rainbow, brown, and cutthroat. The best fishing begins after

Regulations: From the lower boundary of the Tres Piedra Ranch (1= miles above U.S. Highway 160) to the Piedra River Bridge on FS 631 (Piedra Road), anglers may only use artificial flies and lures. Bag and possession limit is two trout.
