Conditions : Lake Beulah: Bass - Good bait choices this time of year are buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. Try fishing for bass in 5 to 8 feet of water near any submerged structure you can find. Also try around the piers on the east side of the lake.
Trolling in the deeper areas of the lake such as the blue hole is a good place this time of year for crappie. Also try using jigs or minnows around the piers on the east side of the lake.
Fish for bream near the banks with cover and near shaded areas in 4 to 6 feet of water. Try using red worms and crickets for bait.
Cat - Try fishing the deep areas of the lake using liver, cut bait and redworms.

About: - Lake Beulah is at a relatively high elevation compared to other Mississippi River oxbow lakes. When the river is below 18 feet (Ark. City) the water level of the lake is stable. Between 18-20 feet lake level is controlled by drainage through culvert in dam. Above 24 feet lake rises/falls close to same rate as changes in river.
