: ELVIS PRESLEY LAKE: Water temps are now in the 60s. Most anglers have been targeting bass and bream, with a few crappie anglers coming out. The bass anglers are targeting main lake and secondary points with good success. Topwater baits, crankbaits and t-rigged plastics are popular bait choices. The bream anglers are finding some nice fish by hitting the creek channel (10-18ft) in the upper end of the lake. The channel cut at the old road bed has been a popular area. Worms have been the best bait lately. Crappie anglers are picking up a few fish at the drain structure and targeting suspended fish along the creek channel in 10-18ft of water. Crappie jigs or minnows are both catching fish. A few catfishermen have still been catching some fish on drop-offs along the creek channel with worms and liver. Reported by: MDWFP |
