Huron River is located in southeast
Michigan and flows into Lake Erie. The river flows 125 miles from the Huron
Swamp northwest of Pontiac to Pt. Mouilee on Lake Erie, dropping from 1,018 to
572 feet above sea level along the way. The system contains approximately 367
miles of streams and drains. Bass, bluegills, sunfish, crappie, carp, catfish
all abound in various Ann Arbor locations on the river. There are
multiple fishing public access points in Ann Arbor to the river. Anglers report
excellent fly and bank fishing.
