: Lake Vermilion: WATER CONDITIONS: Water levels are good for fishing. Makes plans to go fishing this weekend! The Bite is On! CRAPPIE Good: Anglers are catching fish with minnows. Look for them moving up, but check out all depths. LARGEMOUTH BASS Fair: Fishermen are catching some fish with spinnerbaits and a few with crankbaits or jigs. CHANNEL CATFISH Fair: Cast stink bait, a night crawler, or cut bait near brush and timber along the shore lines. Reported by: |

| About: - Lake Vermilion had 666 acres with 12 miles of shoreline. The maximum depth is 27 feet. Boat fishing and picknicking is available at this site. Lake Vermilion is located in Vermilion County on the north side of Danville. The north fork of the Vermilion River runs into the lake. |
