: Animas River - at Durango
As of 6/16/2022, Duranglers reports, Its go-time for the Animas. After runoff, be thinking caddis for the rest of summer!
It seems mornings and evenings are making for the best dry fly fishing. Watch for smaller hatches of drakes or PMDs, should
we get some cloud cover. Rain on the forecast may require you to throw big nymphs or streamers if the water raises or
discolors.
