Conditions : SILVER CREEK: Fishing is good. Anglers are catching Apache trout and large rainbow trout on a variety of flies. White or black leeches, buggers, simi-seals, egg patterns, and zebra midges, as well as other flies, have been working well. The creek is currently open to catch-and-release only, with artificial fly and lures with single barbless hooks only, from October 1 through March 31. A revision of the artificial fly and lure definition is currently being proposed, but in the meantime please do not use any lures or flies with scents or flavors as these “baited” artificial lures cause significantly higher mortality than traditional artificials.
