Conditions : SILVER CREEK: Fishing is good. Anglers are catching many 14-18 inch rainbow trout that were stocked for the catch-and-release season. Current regulations are catch-and-release only from October 1 through March 31. No trout may be kept; artificial fly and lure only; single barbless hooks only. Dark colored bunny leaches, semi seals, and buggers, San Juan worms in red, purple and natural colors, midge nymphs, as well as egg patterns are working well. Please do not use scented “lures”, as these cause significant mortality at a level similar to the use of bait, even when the fish swims away when released. Will have open water all winter. It is a spring creek and does not freeze during the winter.
