Conditions : HORSESHOE: Lake elevation is 1,987 feet (27-percent full). SRP has advised the Tonto National Forest that they began releasing water from Horseshoe Lake on Friday, June 3, 2016. Water flow in the Verde River between Horseshoe and Bartlett may reach up to 1,000 cubic feet per second, and water levels in Bartlett Lake will rise relatively quickly. Campers are advised to camp at least 20-30 feet above the shoreline. This release is expected to last for up to two and 1/2 weeks, and Bartlett Lake levels are expected to rise almost twenty feet. Horseshoe Lake will be completely emptied.
