Conditions : FAIN LAKE: On Nov. 4 200 twelve inch fish, which is approximately a 1 pound fish, were stocked into Fain Lake. The latest trout stocking was the week of Nov. 10. Fishing for trout should be good following this stocking. Spinners work great if you can find the trout schooled up. If not you may try PowerBait or night crawlers. If the trout are not biting, you may switch to catfish.

Water continues to flow into the lake due to the rains. The runoff has resulted in very turbid water. This may actually be good for the catfish bite. Often run off and turbid water stimulates channel catfish to feed. You may try using nightcrawlers as a first choice.
