Conditions
: BLACK CANYON LAKE: Spring stocking has started along with winter hold over trout. Bear Canyon currently has Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Tiger Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Sunfish, Catfish. Try nymphs under an indicator, small gold lures, or Power Bait to attract hungry trout. Spin fisherman try Rooster tails, Joe's Flies, Mepps and Z Rays. Green Sunfish were illegally introduced to this lake. Anglers are encouraged to remove any sunfish caught. Reported by: Arizona F&G |

Located 18 miles Southwest of Heber on Arizona 260, FR300 & FR86 at an
elevation of 7100 feet.

The lake is open to electric trolling motors and up to 10 hp. gas motors. This lake has easy boat and shore fishing access.
