: APACHE: Lake elevation is 1,903 ft (89-percent full). More and more fishermen are hitting Apache and finding out for themselves fishing is pretty good there. One angler fished 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. throwing cranks around one of the islands. The best bite was before 10 a.m. and fishing is very good. A hearty thanks to the anglers that stocked largemouth bass into the lakes. Many anglers helped us tag the bass last week as well. The last batch of largemouth bass were very feisty, they jumped like popcorn when we seined them in the raceway at Bubbling Ponds. Reported by: Arizona F&G |
