Conditions
: RICHLAND CHAMBERS - GOOD. Water normal stain; 70 degrees; 0.77 feet above pool. White bass are good on main lake points and humps in 20-25 feet of water with a slab and jig combination. Check out Pelican Island and the Old U.S. Route 287 Roadbed. Hybrid stripers are good on the 309 Flats in 30 feet of water with live bait. Crappie spawn is nearing an end, but reports still coming in on catches from shallow water on minnows. Catfish are fair on Shad on windblown points. Located about an hour south of Dallas off of Interstate 45, Richland Chambers Reservoir was built in the
late 1980s. It's Texas' 3rd Largest Inland Lake. Many facilities are still under
development. Current visitors will find public boat ramps, marinas, and a
