Conditions : LAKE O' THE PINES: GOOD. Water stained; 63 degrees; 2.16 feet above pool. Crappie are good within 2-6 feet of water biting on minnows or jigs. Sand bass are fair in the creeks. Catfish are good in 2-10 feet with your bait of choice. Report by Marty Thomas, Lake O’ the Pines Crappie Fishing. Bass are on spawning beds in shallow water. About: - Lake O' the Pines' diverse sport fish community offers many angling opportunities. Popular sport fish include white bass and hybrid striped bass. These populations are abundant and contain many legal-size fishes. White bass are native to the Cypress River Basin while hybrid stripers are stocked.
