: LAKE O' THE PINES: GOOD. Water stained; 63 degrees; 2.16 feet above pool. Crappie are good within 2-6 feet of water biting on minnows or jigs. Sand bass are fair in the creeks. the Pines' diverse sport fish community offers many
angling opportunities. Popular sport fish include
white bass and hybrid striped bass. These
populations are abundant and contain many legal-size
fishes.
White bass are native to the Cypress River Basin while hybrid stripers are
stocked. Crappie, also popular with anglers, are quite abundant with large
