Conditions
: Watts Bar: Reservoir Conditions: The lake elevation is winter normal. The water temperature is fluctuating from 44 degrees to 55 degrees. Tailwater conditions are dangerous.Bass: Some bass are being caught. The Tennessee Rig and the jerkbait are the most used baits.Crappie: Crappie fishing is difficult now in some areas of the lake. Anglers say they are seeing a lot of shad in the lake. The amount of bait present in the lake is making it difficult to catch fish. Reported by: Sportsman's Warehouse |

About: -
Watts Bar Lake is one of the Southern Tennessee's largest lakes. It has 770 miles of
shoreline with some of the South's best fishing. Large mouth bass are the largest
population, followed closely by small mouth bass and crappie - all three species
of crappie which include white, black and the recently stocked Arkansas black
nose. Watts Bar Lake is now developing a reputation for the fresh
water striped bass, also known as the rock fish. The largest our Resort has
weighed was 49 pounds; however, most weigh from 12 to 35 pounds
