: Clear Creek Reservoir - Shoreline anglers have been catching some trout on salmon eggs, night crawlers, fly-bubble outfits and small, spoon-type lures. Trailered boats are permitted Thursdays through Sundays, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., until the end of September. Inspection will be required before launching. Non-trailered boats such canoes, belly boats and hand-launched craft can be used at any time. The reservoir usually offers fair fishing for pan-size rainbow and Snake River cutthroat trout, and an occasional larger brown. Kokanee salmon and tiger muskies also are present. Snagging of Kokanee allowed Oct. 1 - Dec 31 upstream to gauging station (1/2 mile above Clear Creek Reservoir). Reported by: Colorado D.O.W |

Clear Creek Reservoir produces good sized
brown, rainbow and cutthroat trout, and also host some Kokanee Salmon. A boat ramp is provided, with
camping available nearby.
Location: Clear Creek is located 13 miles north of Buena Vista
on U.S. Hwy 285.
