: LEES FERRY: Fly fishing try San Juan worm patterns in the rust, brown, and red in size 14. Scuds in grey, ginger, and pink in size 14 produce well. In the mornings before the water starts to rise, try to fish on black midge patterns, sizes 16-18. Concentrate on areas with a fast current with the water depth no deeper than your leader length. Casting Rooster Tails, Panther Martins, Castmasters, Z-Rays and Mepps spinners toward the bank is a great method in the slower, deeper water. Reported by: Arizona F&G via Lee's Ferry Angler |

About: -
Lees Ferry is
provides action for fly and spin anglers. The clear
running tailwater fishery runs approximately 15 miles from the outflow of
Glen Canyon Dam to the upper end of the Grand Canyon.
The lower flows in fall provides near perfect water conditions for wading
fly-fishing anglers or spin casters working the shallows. Spring fishing is
best known for the midge hatches that occur March through June.
