Conditions : Granite Res: The Curt Gowdy lakes are the best place in the area to go and simply catch fish. Most fish caught are in the 8"-12" range with some brood stock going over 18". Granite is the largest of the three lakes, many people go boating out here and it is more of a recreation lake. There is an outdoor archery range, play ground and plenty of camping areas around the lake.

Lures to use: Rapalas (brown trout, silver, or gold), Panther Martins (gold, or silver), Rooster Tails and Thomas Lures, Blue Fox Spinners.

Bait: Night crawlers, Power Bait, and Eggs.

Flies: Bead Head Wooly Buggers (olive and black), Thin Mints, Streamers, Leech patterns, Copper Johns (copper or red), Princes, Pheasant Tails and chironomids. Renegades and Mr. QT's.
