Water Temperature

Conditions : Buffalo Bill Reservoir: Fishing on Buffalo Bill has remained constant. Cooler water temperatures should have the trout active and ready to bite. Anglers coming here should look to pursue trout with a variety of lures from Panther Martins to Rapalas trolled in the upper 5-10 feet of water. Good spinner choices would be lures like Panther Martins with gold and silver blades, with experimenting with color and size always being a good option. Good crankbait choices will be anything that has some kind of orange on it as these patterns always seem to produce.

Lake trout anglers should begin to target the rockier shores where the lake trout will look to spawn as Fall continues to come into its own. Anglers trolling crankbaits, spinners and spoons should see success.
