Glendale FWA Lakes: Fishing has slowed due to the warm weather and lack of rain. Weeds are becoming more prevalent with the lower water an increased warmth. Lake is 1 inch below POOL and is in VERY good fishing shape
Perch - Not really anything to report on perch since most fishermen are concentrating on bluegills and redear.
Redear have gone deep for the most part with a majority being caught in 12-14ft of water on weed bed edges.
Catfish - Fishing from boats sitting in the channels and casting toward the shoreline just to the edge of the weed beds. Bass are moving into shallow water to feed.
Catfish - There have been very few anglers fishing for catfish specifically, but some have been taken on live bait and worms. Limb-line and trot-line fishermen are having fair to good success.
Bluegill activity has slowed significantly with this hot weather. A few fish have been picked up while fishing deeper water suspended over weedbeds.
Crappie have become suspended over structure with a few being caught while bluegill fishing.
