Conditions : Bitterroot River: This weekend doesn’t look too bad as far as weather goes. Fishing this week has still been pretty slow with only the afternoon to really get out and fish. Nymphing is the way to go with San Juans, Eggs, Double Bead Stones, Rubberlegs, PT’s and Lightning Bugs. We should see the weather get warmer at the end of next week. Keeping our fingers crossed.

About: - Located in Southwestern Montana just north of the Idaho Border. The Bitterroot is a river consisting of diverse water and quality hatches. Cutthroat, brown, rainbow, and brook trout can all be found in its waters. The Bitterroot is approximately 75 miles long from the junction of the East and West Fork just below Conner to where it meets the Clark Fork near Missoula. You will find riffles, deep pools, fallen trees, and other characteristics of a outstanding trout fishery. (River Access & Special Regulations)
