THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR A LARGE PART OF ARKANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

AN ISOLATED SHOWER IS POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY THE NORTH THROUGH THIS
AFTERNOON AS A COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE STATE. THE BOUNDARY IS
EXPECTED TO REACH THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER BY EARLY THIS EVENING. THE
THREAT FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER HOWEVER WILL REMAIN LOW.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

THE AFOREMENTIONED COLD FRONT WILL BE WELL EAST OF THE AREA COME
FRIDAY MORNING. CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE WILL FOLLOW THE FRONT
BRINGING SOME OF THE COLDEST AIR SEEN SO FAR THIS SEASON TO THE
STATE FOR THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES SATURDAY MORNING COULD DROP INTO
THE UPPER 20S TO MID 30S ACROSS THE AREA. AS A RESULT...A HARD
FREEZE AND AREAS OF FROST WILL BE POSSIBLE. A HARD FREEZE WATCH IS
ALREADY IN EFFECT FOR PARTS OF NORTHERN AND WESTERN ARKANSAS FOR
SATURDAY NIGHT.

ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE INTO THE REGION EARLY NEXT WEEK BEFORE
STALLING OVER SOMEWHERE OVER THE STATE. CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL RETURN TO THE FORECAST LATE MONDAY AND PERSIST
THROUGH WEDNESDAY. SEVERAL ROUNDS OF RAINFALL COULD BE SEEN...WITH
SOME AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL POSSIBLE.
