Conditions : BAKER RESERVOIR: Fishing has been slow to fair lately, but more catchable-sized rainbow trout were stocked in March. Fishing from a float tube or a small boat can help you get away from the crowds and find better fishing. A recent fish population survey found a lot of 10- to 12-inch rainbow trout left over from last fall's stocking. There are good numbers of nice-sized brown trout up to seven pounds too. The browns are eating goldfish, so try fishing with minnow-imitating lures, jigs or flies. Frozen minnows or anchovies could also work.
