: MONROE MOUNTAIN LAKES: Fishing forecast (April through June): Access to the Box Creek reservoirs usually opens up by late April to early May. The other lakes usually aren't accessible until June. Rainbow trout are stocked soon after access is possible. Upper Box Creek Reservoir was completely drained in 2021, but has since been stocked with cutthroat, tiger, rainbow trout and splake. All of which should provide good fishing this summer as long as water conditions allow. Note: Manning Meadow Reservoir is closed to fishing from Jan. 1 to the second Saturday in July Reported by: Utah D.W.R |
