Conditions : STRAIGHT CANYON CREEK: Fishing forecast (March through May): The local water conservancy district will begin releasing water from Joe's Valley Reservoir in preparation for runoff. Flows will be higher than normal, and could create dangerous conditions. Note: We recommend anglers exercise caution in the area until flows return to normal.

About: - Straight Canyon Creek is also known as Cottonwood Creek and flows out of Joes Valley Reservoir. Fishing can be hazardous in the spring when large volumes of water are released from the reservoir — anglers should exercise caution.
