Conditions
: MAMMOTH CREEK: Fishing forecast (March through May): Fishing conditions vary throughout the spring as the snow melts and runoff makes fishing difficult. Once runoff subsides, fishing can pick up by using a variety of flies. Bonneville cutthroat trout have been stocked now, but they are fingerling fish and will take a couple years to get up to catchable size. Castle Creek (Sidney Valley) was restored a few years ago and has good numbers of chunky cutthroat trout, as well as a handful of tiger trout. Some catchable-sized tiger trout were stocked in upper Mammoth Creek last summer. Reported by: Utah D.W.R |

About: -
Mammoth Creek flows about 20 miles through mountains and forests, until it meets the main stem
of the Sevier River near the town of Hatch, Utah. The creek is a popular spot
for anglers and provides opportunities to catch wild brown trout and hatchery
rainbow trout. Mammoth Creek and Asay Creek converge about 15 miles south of the
town of Panguitch to form the main stem of the Sevier River.
