: Uncompahgre River: (Below Ridgeway) - As of 4/8/2022, Duranglers reports, Midge and baetis nymphs a must. Its the classic winter formula here in Colorado, but
make sure to have some leeches and SJ worms too. Water is low, so be super stealthy. Fishing has not been easy, but it can
be rewarding if you put in the work!
Flows: 60.8 CFS below Ridgway Reservoir (4/7/2022) Reported by: Colorado D.O.W |

About: -
Uncompahgre River -is located on the western slope of the
San Juan Mountains near the rustic Colorado town of Quray. The Uncompahgre over the last twelve years has become a good tailwater
fishery. The section below the dam (Pa-co-chu-puk) has been rehabilitated with
boulder placements, log anchors and other obstructions that provide excellent
cover for the fish. This section is catch-and-release and it does have good
public access. The river is known for good sized browns and rainbows, and its
ability to be fished year round.
