: Eagle River - As of 6/13/2022, Cutthroat Anglers report, Runoff is in full swing on the Eagle River. With high flows and poor water
clarity fish will be found tucked close to the bank or in any slower water structure. The fishing isn't the best right now but if
you fish the upper stretches you might find some success. Nymphing big attractors like stoneflies, worms, and large caddis
will be the ticket. The TDJ Golden Stone was our best producer on a recent float trip. Streamer fishing is also producing
some exciting takes.
RIVER FLOW(CUBIC FEET PER SECOND): Flows are around 2300 cfs at Walcott.
WATER TEMPERATURE (DEGREES F): 45-55's
WATER CLARITY: Above Walcott 2-3 feet. Below Walcott 1 foot
CURRENT FOOD SOURCES: Worms | Stoneflies | Caddis | Baetis | Midge larva/ emergers/adults | small fish, leeches, etc. | Reported by: Colorado D.O.W |
