: UTE LAKE: Fishing for walleye was fair when using jerkbaits and paddle-tail swimbaits. Fishing for white bass was good when trolling using various crankbaits that dive 8-10 feet deep. Fishing for smallmouth bass was fair to good when using chatterbaits and swimbaits. The main lake water surface temperature was in the lower 50 F range, and the waters color was lightly stained from wind. Reported by: New Mexico F&G |
