Conditions : STILLHOUSE: GOOD. Water stained; 64 degrees; 17.07 feet below pool. The white bass fishing has slowed significantly due to lack of flow in the tributaries and low water. Look for white bass fishing to pick back up by mid-June. Largemouth bass fishing is improving as new hydrilla begins to grow and the lake warms toward preferred spawning temperatures bringing many fish up shallow. Dark, natural hues of soft plastics worked on the outside edge of the hydrilla, especially where that hydrilla growth coincides with topographic anomalies, is productive. Freshwater drums are now spawning. Target bare, stony points in 12-19 feet of water worked with a 5/8 ounce Bladed Hazy Eye Slab by banging the bottom, then lifting the lure about a foot and repeating this process will produce fish 12-26 inches.
