Conditions
: Clinch River - We are beginning to see some suitable flow rates on the Clinch river, especially on the weekends. This will always be a technical river to fish, but possibly very rewarding. You need your A game here with long casts and small flies. Reported by: Southeastern Anglers |

The Clinch is Tennessee's oldest cold-water tailwater. Norris Dam was completed
in 1936, and trout have been stocked in the river since 1950. Tennessee's state-record brown trout was caught on the Clinch River. And every
year the tailwaters of Norris Lake yields big trout, including some
double-digit weight browns. Currently, the TWRA stocks roughly 250,000 trout per year in the 14-mile-long
