Conditions : Cherokee: WATER CONDITIONS:
The water level is rising with the surface temperature at 38.8 degrees.  The water is muddy colored on the upper end of the lake and murky in the main body of the lake.

SUMMARY:
Bass fishing is slow.

Crappie can be found around brush piles, rocky points and around submerged trees along bluffs.  Fish with live minnows, small flies, pink, purple, or light green colors.  Large crappie are being caught at Poor Valley, Three Springs, German, and Ray creeks.

Catfish are being caught along bluffs and in creek areas.  Fish 5 to 20 feet deep with night crawlers or shad.

A few walleye have been caught on the upper end of the lake.  Trolling with night crawlers or June bug spinner in the river channel close to the bottom.
