Boone Reservoir Dam is located at mile marker 18.6 on the south
fork of the Holston River. The reservoir is located in Sullivan County and
Washington County in Tennessee. Boone Lake offers 130 miles of shoreline, 8 miles of which is island shoreline. At normal maximum pool, the reservoir contains 189,100 acre feet of water. Directions: Interstate 81 to Exit 59 Highway 36 South to Highway 75 junction at Tri- Cities Airport Exit turn left. Go approximately 1 mile, cross the Holston River and the Reservoir exit it to your right. |
