Conditions : Detroit Reservoir: The reservoir is now completely full and all boat ramps are in the water, although some may not yet be open for use. It appears the reservoir will be in good shape all summer. Water temperature is beginning to warm up and anglers are reporting good catches of trout and kokanee. The reservoir will be stocked again this week with 10,000 hatchery rainbow trout. Mongold boat ramp is available for launching boats.

About: - Detroit Lake is located in the Cascades of Oregon. The 400-foot-deep lake was created in 1953 when the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers completed the Detroit Dam project. The lake is over nine miles long with more than 32 miles of shore line. Detroit provides many easily accessible locations for avid fishermen. There are many fishing spots around Detroit Lake that can be very good from the shore.  Fishing from the dam provides the easiest access with some very good fishing action.  (more on Detroit Lake)
