Conditions : Elk River: Cutthroat fishing has been good. Anglers will want to fish early or late in the day for a chance at catching some of the bigger cutthroat that live in most of the holes in both rivers.

About: - Elk River: October through January. The Elk River is 50 miles long with 10 miles of good King Salmon fishing water for late season. The Elk River is a wonderful small stream with more King salmon holding water and holes per mile than any other stream in Oregon. Kings on the Elk River average about 30-pounds, with fish to 50-pounds.
