Conditions : Wister: November 9. Elevation 12 ft. above normal, water murky. Largemouth bass good on soft plastic worms and spinnerbaits. Crappie fair with small spinnerbaits, minnows and pink jigs. Channel and blue catfish fair on juglines with cut shad and liver. Report submitted by Randy Fennell, game warden stationed in LeFlore County.

About: - Lake Wister is located in the San Bois Mountains on the Poteau River -- the only river that flows north in Oklahoma. There are 3,428 Park Acres and 7,300 Lake Acres. The park includes 15 Cabins, 5 Camping Areas with 182 Campsites, a group camp facility with a capacity of 100, Hiking, a Swimming Beach and Pool, Water Skiing, a Fishing Dock, a Nature Center, Guided Lake Tours, a Gift Shop, and Mini-golf.
