: Sardis Lake: November 8. Elevation 1 ft. above normal, water upper 50s. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits in coves and creeks. Crappie good on the bridges and off the tower. Channel catfish fair on cut bait in the main lake. Fishing report submitted by James Williams, game warden stationed in Latimer County. Reported by: Oklahoma Wildlife Dept. |

Sardis Lake in southeastern Oklahoma is located just north of Clayton. Sardis
Lake has 117 miles of shoreline and 14,360 surface acres. Sardis Lake,
surrounded by mountains, is one of the top bass fishing lakes in the state. The
creek arms in Sardis Lake are covered in timber and weed beds.
Directions: From Clayton go 2 miles north on Highway 2 to the lake entrance.
