| Conditions
: Murray: September 14. Elevation normal, water stained especially in the north end. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on various baits early and late. Channel catfish good on stinkbait, cut bait, shrimp and worms. Crappie being caught on minnows and jigs at 15-20 ft. around brush piles and habitat structures. Walleye being caught trolling. | About: -
Lake Murray offers 5,700 acres of crystal
clear waters, with a beautiful landscape. The state park encompasses over
12, 000 acres and is operated by the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Departments
and is one of the state's most popular attractions. The lake is impounded in
Oklahoma and contains largemouth, spotted and smallmouth bass. The lake yields
a large numbers of smallmouth in the 2-3 pound class with some smallmouth in the
5 pounds class.
