Conditions : Kaw: Elevation normal, water 72 and clear. Crappie good on grubs, tube jigs and minnows at 4-10 ft. along riprap and standing timber. White bass and striped bass hybrids good on Alabama rigs, topwater lures, spoons and sassy shad at 2-8 ft. along riprap and points. Blue and channel catfish excellent on cut bait, shad and stinkbait at 2-12 ft. along flats and shallows. Report submitted by Spencer Grace, game warden stationed in Kay County.

About: - Kaw Lake covers 17,000 surface acres and has 168 miles of shoreline at the normal elevation just above 1000.00 feet above sea level. Ten boat launching ramps provide boaters with easy access to the lake. Kaw Lake offers boaters two full service marinas. The Lake and the Arkansas River are known for producing some of Oklahoma's largest catfish and offering anglers excellent opportunities to catch crappie, sand (white) bass and walleye.
