Bass, Largemouth, Bass, White good on crankbaits, in-line spinnerbaits, sassy shad around shorelines, weed beds.

Catfish, Blue, Catfish, Channel fair on hot dogs, punch bait, shad, worms around docks, main lake, rocks.

Crappie, Black, Crappie, White good on jigs, minnows, powerbait around docks, rocks, shorelines.

About: - Try fishing for walleye from the rip-rap at Lake Hefner during the months of March and November. These are the most productive times for walleye anglers in this lake.

Lake Hefner is located in central in Oklahoma County northwest of Oklahoma City. The 2,500-acre lake has nearly 20 miles of shoreline and provides boat ramps and docks.

Misc Info: - Hefner - fishing limited to no more than three (3) rods and reels per person, with no more than three (3) hooks per line (treble hooks are considered one hook). Bowfishing is permitted year-round but during daylight hours only. No other method of fishing allowed.
