| Conditions
: Broken Bow: July 11. Water mid 80s and clear. Largemouth and smallmouth bass good on large plastic baits in motor oil color around rocky points and islands after dark. Catfish good on juglines and trotlines with cut bait and shad at 15-20 ft. Crappie good on minnows and jigs in deeper water around structure and standing timber. Broken Bow Lake: Nine miles northeast of Broken Bow in McCurtain
county. The lake is very deep and the water clear. An excellent population of
quality size largemouth bass and an abundant spotted bass population. Two state parks: Beaver´s Bend State Park and Hochatown State Park. Lodge, cabins, camping, nature center, trails, volleyball, tennis, swimming beach, canoeing, paddle-boating, bumper boating, horseback riding, miniature golf, restaurant, grocery, gift shop, train rides, 18-hole golf course.
