Conditions : Honeoye Lake: Honeoye Lake has ice around 11-12 inches, but nearshore areas are getting soft. Take your creepers as the surface is slick. Shallower areas of 6 to 15 feet are good spots for sunfish, including some slob bluegill. Jigs with grubs work well. Try jigging up high periodically to draw fish back into your area, then drop it back down into the strike zone. Deeper areas of 25 feet plus are a better bet for yellow perch. Jigs with grubs or plastics and slender spoons with grubs or a small minnow are good perch offerings.
